Statement of Faith
My father, Larry V. Morrell, founded this trucking company with the belief that Christian values would be an essential cornerstone. It is my desire and commitment to remain on the same path, always remembering our purpose.
“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.”
As God’s stewards, we strive to enhance the lives of our employees, customers, and vendors by dedicating the purpose of our business to bring God glory and honor. We hope to echo the sentiment of C.T. Studd’s famous words, “Only one life ‘twill soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last.” Our efforts to maintain this commitment involve several core values which include the following: exemplary work ethic, occupational excellence, efficiency, professionalism, and teamwork. We believe these core values are interconnected with the Christian values we hope to exhibit. “For in the end, it is impossible to have a great life unless it is a meaningful life. And it is very difficult to have a meaningful life without meaningful work” (Jim Collins).
All the credit will be given to God for any success we should achieve.
“Remember the Lord your God. He is the One who gives you the power to be successful”
Work Ethic – Proverbs 14:23 “Work brings profit, but mere talk leads to poverty!”
Excellence – Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
Efficiency – Ephesians 5:15-16 “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.”
Professionalism – Philippians 4:8b “Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.
Teamwork – Exodus 18:18 “You’re going to wear yourself out - and the people too. This job is too heavy a burden for you to handle all by yourself.”
